The aim of the De Grotius minor is to introduce refugees to the Dutch education system and to give refugees an opportunity to integrate into Dutch society.?
?Who can apply? De Grotius minor is meant for refugees within the north of the netherlands who are capable of taking on a course at the higher professional education level. A good understanding of Dutch is also a necessity. The course contains subjects which are important for integration. Subjects include Dutch and English language, intercultural skills and personal leadership. Career advice and advice regarding studying will also be given.
