HAN University of Applied Sciences offers an intensive, full-time language course which must be completed within one year and will help refugees reach the B2 proficiency level required by Programme II of the NT2 State Exam. The Language and Prep Year meet the integration requirements. These include: - passing Programme II of the NT2 State Exam - passing the 'Understanding Dutch Society' test - passing the 'Labour Market Orientation' test. Refugees must have a diploma from outside the Netherlands, however, if the foreign diploma does not meet the requirements, refugees can focus on the missing subjects during the Language and Prep Year. These include: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology. These courses will help refugees pass the 21+ entrance exams, which will allow them to enroll in a HAN degree course.
