Zuyd University offers a prebachelor to prepare refugees for a Dutch bachelor program. This consists of Dutch as second language - NT2 (from B1 to minimum B2 level), Mathematics, English, Study Skills, Study choice, Subjects of the education they want to pursue and coaching. The pre-bachelor offers refugees the opportunity to learn the language, but also the skills they need in Dutch education. They will get intensive guidance so that they can make the right choice for a study that fits with their background and ambitions. The pre-bachelor offers: an NT2 certificate on level B2, havo certificates for math and english, experience in Dutch education and a good preparation for a follow-up study. The Pre-bachelor is not mandatory and refugees are welcome at Zuid University of Applied Sciences if they have Dutch level B2 and a diploma at havo or mbo 4 level. In addition, there may be specific admission requirements per course.
